GLENKENS YOUTH VOICE
Glenkens Youth Voice was a youth consultation project run in 2017 to find our what matters to young people in the area and what would make the Glenkens better for them - from sports to socialising, work to education, safety to health...young people told us what they wanted to see in theircommunity.

What’s it all about?
Glenkens Community and Arts Trust and a number of other local organisations have come together to run Glenkens Youth Voice – an important and first of its kind consultation with young people aged 12 – 25 from the Glenkens. Over the summer and autumn of 2017 you will be able to have your voice heard in a range of fun and interactive ways. This survey is just one of a number of ways you can tell us how you feel, what’s important to you, and what you need to help you thrive here in the Glenkens.
Why is this important?
Young people deserve to be included, respected and heard. Your needs are just as important as the adults within our community, but your views on what’s important to you are not always collected or listened to. We want to change all that. We must start with involving you and listening to your voices, and with what you are telling us you need.
